I have bad anxiety socially and due to stress. My blood pressure will suddenly jump and I'll get hot and flustered over the most ridiculous situations. I also have a hard time staying asleep and I wake up multiple times a night. I tried other brands of ashwagandha and they worked and helped a little, but this brand and potency is so far the most effective. I find myself calm and relaxed in situations I would otherwise be stressed over and anxious. I also sleep a lot better and for longer periods of time. It is in no way addicting. If I forget to take it, I can tell because of my stress levels and anxiety. It did take about ten days before I noticed a change in my mood so be patient because it definitely works.

After about a week, I noticed I am getting a good 7-8 hrs of restful sleep every night. I wake up refreshed ready to start the day with gusto! My anxiousness is still around, yet I feel more in control of myself. I am very busy going back to school, homework, family life and taking care of my mom-in-law. This product has truly changed my life. I have been dealing with anger issues for a while now. I have plenty of reasons but it started to affect my everyday life. Been using this brand of ashwaganda for 6+months. Smooths out mood, things don't bother me much. Everybody around me getting all torked up about stuff... NOT ME also, I noticed that overall body pain is less when I take it...I discovered it when I ran out and didn't reorder for a week or so. I started to hurt all over again . Happy this is affordable, so I can take long term. Inside the package is an invitation for a free bottle. I took advantage of the offer and it came within a week. Nice! Although the packaging is on the minimalistic side, the product inside of it more than makes up for the simplicity! My first week of trying the Ashwagandha happened to be during an incredibly stressful week at work, and although I was certainly aware of the stress around me, the Ashwagandha genuinely helped me remained calm and present instead of dissolving into anxiety-ridden stress. It's not the equivalent of a Xanax, and frankly I didn't want it to be, but it's an excellent tool that I'm excited to continue using. The most important thing to me is that the product works (and it definitely does!) but I do also appreciate that the Ashwagandha inside is certified USDA organic and manufactured in the US because so many supplements are a little shady about where they were made and what exactly they're made from. All in all, I'm a hearty supporter and have already recommended this product to a friend and a coworker as a great supplement to 'take the edge off' of those particularly difficult days.

My anxiety and stress levels have been off the chart to say the least. I’d also noticed I’d been getting ill more frequently even though my home is mostly rebuilt and there is no mold here or where I work. I have been taking Ashwagandha as directed (3 capsules once daily) and the effects were felt that very evening. After three days I noticed my dry hacking cough had finally become productive after 6 months of sniffling like a toddler but no evidence of any congestion other than I could “feel” it. I have been less argumentative and my stomach has stopped revolting against any and all foods I eat. Seller shipped same day and I received it 3 days earlier than I anticipated. Ashwagandha is something I've been taking for a very long time as it is one of the only herbs that helps with my anxiety and coping with stressful situations. I've tried several companies, and this one is by far the best. Definitely would recommend.

I didn't feel anything different during the first week but that was expected. However, the affect may have snuck up on me because around the day 10, I found myself in a state of light meditation (unintentionally) whenever my buttons were pushed. SO STRANGE!! I really don't have the right words to describe this and I don't want to just say "I felt calm". Yes, I am calmer and my mood is very steady... but what I'm experiencing is more than just feeling calm. In a situation I normally would react, I'm going into a light meditation just witnessing my thoughts and feelings pass by. This was my first experience taking Ashwagandha and I am a believer!

I like that I have seen an improvement in my mood, disposition and even my quality of sleep. I have more energy during the evening and after a good night's sleep, I wake up with energy. It's been a long time since that's happened. Taking ashwaghanda is the only change I've made so I attribute these changes to this wonderful product.

Been taking 3 in the morning with “breakfast” usually a snack and some kind of juice. I noticed I was just feeling a little more upbeat than usual after 30-45 mins. For me I personally feel like it lasts somewhere between 4-6 hours but I’m just a little shocked I felt anything at all. I was really skeptical. Would recommend just trying it out, taking it in the morning and just go about your day. See if there’s any extra pep in your step

Due to multiple health problems that I've been experiencing now for over 10 years which has limited my life style immensely, I have been dealing with anxiety, frustration leading to sadness, and mood swings. I've noticed that since I've started taking the Ashwagandha that my mood swings have not been present near as often and my frustration level has been diminished greatly leading to less sadness. Stress has always been a big factor in my life. Even when not being stressed out, my body seems to have been stuck in that state of fight or flight. I'm always on edge over everything. This product arrived ahead of schedule so I’ve been using it for about a week now and I must say I’m a big fan!! At 50 I need adrenal support and hormonal balance as I’m noticing the prelude to “the change”. I actually have cut down the recommended dose.....that’s how well my body has responded to this product! I have tried this product and for me it has seemed to lengthen my fuse. I would snap at the slightest thing, but seem to be able to deal with things a little better. Even my wife noticed the difference .It is also supposed to be good for men who are older and their testosterone is low, as this product supposedly lowers your cortisol which in turn raises your own testosterone. I have not had my blood checked recently but my last test my testosterone was low. I have a feeling it may be working on that too as I have been feeling a bit more frisky. She noticed that as well I also seem to sleep a bit better. Saying all of this I caution everyone to use your heads. There are some things that work for some people but may have reverse affects on others or seem to do nothing. Some of these herbs have been used for a thousand years. I believe this herb, root powder came from India. Again use anything with caution. A little common sense can go a long way. A lot of people today want a magic bullet and instant results. The world does not always work that way. This is just my humble opinion from my experience.

I am usually a very upbeat positive person but over the past few months I noticed a change in my mood. The situation seemed to get worse with the onset of the cold temperature. I tired this product looking for an OTC answer to help calm my stress and anxiety, since life has been going pretty crazy for the past several months. I take the recommended dosage (3 pills) at night just before bed. Within a week I noticed a significant difference. When I went to reorder it was out of stock, so I ended up trying a different brand of ashwagandha, expecting a similar result. I gave it about 3 weeks, but even after matching the dosage, I knew it wasn't working. I realize this probably sounds like a paid review, but it is not. I do want to know if there are other brands that work, just in case this one is no longer carried at some point

I love this stuff! It has been life changing for me! My anxiety, stress and depression was going through the roof. My cortisol levels were astronomical. I have tried to lose weight for so long and never could. As soon as I started taking this along with intermittent fasting the weight is just coming off a few lb a week on their own, I realized that my weight was due to cortisol fat. I was under an extreme amount of stress. Had been taking Busiprone prescribed by my doctor for anti-anxiety and stress relief. I am also over weight and had found out about ashwagandha from watching a YouTube video on how to lower cortisol levels naturally. It was truly incredible. I had some pretty bad road rage before. The Busiprone is only for like anti-anxiety, depression, stress relief and it's a chemical thing. Your ashwagandha is anit-anxiety, stress relief, mood elevator, adrenal support, immune support and natural. Can't get much better than that. A few months later.....It has worked so well for me at elevating my mood that now my mother (who was on Zoloft) is using it too. She is doing much better using this than the Zoloft.
